Georgia High School Soccer - Jackson nudges Jones County
February 23, 2022: Jackson, GA 30233 Jackson Red Devils (Jackson, GA) fans were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Jones County Greyhounds (Gray, GA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Red Devils confront the Sumter County Panthers (Americus, GA) in a AAA Region 2 challenge, on Friday, February 25. Jackson will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 8-0 non-league win over Macon County (Montezuma, GA).
The Greyhounds now have a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host First Presbyterian Day for a A Private Area 1 challenge on Monday, February 28.
