Stanhope Elmore Mustangs (Millbrook, AL) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Lanier Poets (Montgomery, AL), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs confront the Helena Huskies (Helena, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 25. Stanhope Elmore will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Huskies enter the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Spain Park (Hoover, AL).

The Poets now possess a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lee for a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 24. Lanier will confront a Generals team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Pike Road (Pike Road, AL). The Generals record now stands at 0-3.
