De La Salle Spartans (Concord, CA) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Clayton Valley Charter Ugly Eagles (Concord, CA), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Spartans confront the Montgomery Vikings (Santa Rosa, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 26. De La Salle will attempt to move on its 18-6 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 15-2 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Vintage (Napa, CA).

The Ugly Eagles now possess a 15-3 record.
