In Thursday's non-league challenge, the McAllen Bulldogs (McAllen, TX) baseball squad triumphed over the visiting Holmes Huskies (San Antonio, TX), by a final score of 9-1.

With the win, McAllen upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Bulldogs host Rowe (McAllen, TX) to battle the Warriors in a 5A Region IV District 31 challenge on Tuesday, February 28. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Rowe lost 9-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Palmview (La Joya, TX)

With the defeat, Holmes falls to 1-2 on the season. The Huskies travel to Tuloso-Midway (Corpus Christi, TX) to battle the Warriors/Cherokees in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 24. The Warriors/Cherokees come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Tuloso-Midway won 6-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Victoria West (Victoria, TX)
