February 23, 2023: Jasonville, IN 47438 The Owen Valley Patriots (Spencer, IN) basketball felled the host Shakamak Lakers (Jasonville, IN), 86-69 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Patriots (8-14) will now prepare for their test against North Central (Farmersburg, IN). The Thunderbirds go into the non-league test with a 12-11 record. In their last test, North Central went down by West Vigo (West Terre Haute, IN), 44-33, in a non-league test.
The Lakers now own a 13-10 record. They play next when they travel to Lighthouse Christian Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 28. Shakamak will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 87-58 non-league loss to Henryville (Henryville, IN). The Lions record now stands at 15-7.
