Arp Tigers (Arp, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Cross Roads Bobcats (Malakoff, TX), 7-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host Buffalo for a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 23. Arp will battle a Bison squad coming off a 12-2 non-league win over Leon (Jewett, TX). The Bison record now stands at 8-0.
