Texas High School Softball - Brazosport bounces Port Aransas
February 23, 2023: Freeport, TX 77541 Brazosport Exporters (Freeport, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Port Aransas Marlins (Port Aransas, TX), 15-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Exporters now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Palacios for a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 25. Brazosport will battle a Sharks squad coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Yorktown (Yorktown, TX). The Sharks record now stands at 4-2.
With the loss, Port Aransas falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Marlins travel to Yorktown (Yorktown, TX) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 24. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 0-1. Yorktown lost 22-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Stockdale (Stockdale, TX)
