Texas High School Softball - New Deal bounces Claude
February 23, 2023: New Deal, TX 79350 The New Deal Lions (New Deal, TX) softball routed the visiting Claude Mustangs (Claude, TX), 13-3 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Lions (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Lockney (Lockney, TX). The Longhorns go into the 2A Region I District 3 bout with a 3-1 record.
The Mustangs now possess a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Cooper for a non-league bout on Thursday, February 23. Claude will confront a Pirates squad coming off a 6-4 non-league win over El Dorado (El Paso, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 3-0.
