The Dripping Springs Tigers (Dripping Springs, TX) softball the visiting Sinton Pirates (Sinton, TX), 4-2 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Tigers (8-2) will now prepare for their bout against Barbers Hill (Mt. Belvieu, TX). The Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 3-1 record. In their last bout, Barbers Hill by Lake Creek (Montgomery, TX), 7-0, in a non-league challenge.

With the loss, Sinton falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Hays (Buda, TX) to face the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 24. The Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 4-5. Hays lost 7-1 in their recent non-league challenge against East View (Georgetown, TX)
