Louisiana High School Softball - Sumner loses to Mt. Carmel
February 23, 2023: Kentwood, LA 70444 The Mt. Carmel Cubs softball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Sumner Cowboys to 0 in the Cubs non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Mt. Carmel improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Cubs travel to Caldwell Parish (Columbia, LA) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league game on Saturday, March 11. The Spartans come into the game with a record of 3-2.
In their next game, the Cowboys clash with the Slaughter Community Charter Knights (Slaughter, LA) in a non-league game, on Friday, February 24. Sumner will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Knights come into the game with a 0-1 record after their 13-0 non-league loss to Livonia (Livonia, LA).
