The Bulldogs now hold a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hawkins for a 2A Region III District 19 outing on Tuesday, February 27. Union Hill will confront a Hawks team coming off a 14-4 non-league loss to Pewitt (Omaha, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 1-3.
Next, the Bobcats confront the Harts Bluff Bulldogs (Mt. Pleasant, TX) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, February 29. Fruitvale will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a 4-2 record after their 19-3 non-league win over Trinity Christian (Texarkana, AR).
