Georgia High School Baseball - Rockmart holds off Lamar County
February 23, 2024: Rockmart, GA 30153 Spectators at Friday's non-league battle between the Rockmart Yellowjackets (Rockmart, GA) and the visiting Lamar County Trojans (Barnesville, GA), saw Rockmart's baseball squad knock off Lamar County by a count of 7-3.
Coming up next, the Yellowjackets play the Cedartown Bulldogs (Cedartown, GA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, February 27. Rockmart will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 0-6 record after their 6-4 non-league loss to Pierce County (Blackshear, GA).
The Trojans now possess a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Jackson for a non-league battle on Wednesday, February 28. Lamar County will play a Red Devils squad coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Putnam County (Eatonton, GA). The Red Devils record now stands at 3-3.
