Valley Christian Defenders (Cerritos, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host South Spartans (Torrance, CA), 7-4 in a non-league test.

With the win, Valley Christian upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Defenders host West (Torrance, CA) to battle the Warriors in a non-league test on Saturday, February 24. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 2-2. West lost 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Redondo Union (Redondo Beach, CA)

With the defeat, South falls to 1-3 on the season. The Spartans travel to Palos Verdes (Palos Verdes Estates, CA) to battle the Sea Kings in a non-league test on Saturday, February 24.
