In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Goliad Tigers basketball team scored a tight 62-58 triumph over the Rio Hondo Bobcats.

In their next game, the Tigers meet the Santa Gertrudis Academy Lions (Kingsville, TX) in a non-league match, on Monday, February 26. Goliad will attempt to better on its 30-5 season record.
