Alaska High School Basketball - North Pole nips Palmer
February 23, 2024: North Pole, AK 99705 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the North Pole Patriots (North Pole, AK) and the visiting Palmer Moose (Palmer, AK), saw North Pole's basketball squad hold off Palmer by a tally of 51-47.
With the victory, North Pole improves its record to 8-14 on the campaign. The Patriots host Ben Eielson (Eielson AFB, AK) to play the Ravens in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 27. The Ravens come into the challenge with a record of 4-17.
Next up, the Moose play the Delta Huskies (Delta Junction, AK) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 24. Palmer will attempt to improve on its 7-12 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 12-9 record after their 70-42 league win over Ben Eielson (Eielson AFB, AK).
