In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Briarwood Academy Buccaneers basketball team scored a good 62-50 triumph over the Southwest Georgia Academy Warriors.

In their next game, the Buccaneers meet the Trinity Christian Crusaders (Dublin, GA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, February 29. Briarwood Academy will attempt to better on its 23-4 season record. The Crusaders enter the match with a 15-12 record after their 59-51 non-league win over Brentwood (Sandersville, GA).
