Texas High School Softball - Anderson-Shiro bounces Alpha Omega Academy
February 23, 2024: Anderson, TX 77830 Anderson-Shiro Fighting Owls (Anderson, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Alpha Omega Academy Lions (Huntsville, TX), 12-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Fighting Owls now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Giddings for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 23. Anderson-Shiro will battle a Buffaloes squad coming off a 19-1 non-league loss to Lexington (Lexington, TX). The Buffaloes record now stands at 1-5.
With the loss, Alpha Omega Academy falls to 1-8 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Centerville (Centerville, TX) to battle the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 23. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 1-2. Centerville lost 16-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Buffalo (Buffalo, TX)
