Texas High School Softball - Community bounces Chisum
February 23, 2024: Nevada, TX 75173 Community Braves (Nevada, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Chisum Mustangs (Paris, TX), 7-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Braves now own a 9-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Whitewright for a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 24. Community will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 9-7 non-league loss to Rivercrest (Bogata, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 1-4.
With the loss, Chisum falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Como-Pickton (Como, TX) to battle the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 23. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 3-0. Como-Pickton won 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Paris (Paris, TX)
