Texas High School Softball - Weatherford holds off Waxahachie
February 23, 2024: Weatherford, TX 76087 Weatherford Kangaroos (Weatherford, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Waxahachie Indians (Waxahachie, TX), 6-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Kangaroos now own a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Allen for a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 29. Weatherford will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 7-3 non-league loss to Forney (Forney, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 10-3.
With the loss, Waxahachie falls to 4-7 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Granbury (Granbury, TX) to battle the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 24. The Pirates enter the challenge with a record of 3-5. Granbury lost 6-1 in their recent non-league game against Keller (Keller, TX)
