In Monday's non-league game, the host Brownfield Cubs baseball team scored a close 14-7 victory over the Muleshoe Mules.

The Cubs (3-4) will now prepare for their match against Seminole (Seminole, TX). The Indians come into the non-league match with a 2-5 record. In their last match, Seminole got by Denver City (Denver City, TX), 8-2, in a non-league match.
