Michigan High School Basketball - International Academy can't hold off Cedarville
February 24, 2022: Cedarville, MI 49719 The Cedarville Trojans basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the visiting International Academy Phoenix to 70 in the Trojans non-league victory on Thursday.
The Trojans now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Engadine for a Eastern Upper Peninsula contest on Friday, February 25. Cedarville will battle a Eagles team coming off a 67-52 non-league loss to Mackinaw City (Mackinaw City, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 1-15.
The Phoenix (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Brimley (Brimley, MI). The Bays come into the non-league contest with a 8-8 record. In their last contest, Brimley edged St. Mary Cathedral (Gaylord, MI), 57-51, in a non-league contest.
