The Douglass Hurricanes basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Parkway Christian to 37 in the Hurricanes non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Hurricanes now sport a 5-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host East English Village Prep for a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 1. Douglass will battle a team coming off a 78-9 non-league loss to Cass Tech (Detroit, MI). The record now stands at 2-9.
