Michigan High School Basketball - L'Anse Creuse nips Anchor Bay
February 24, 2022: Fair Haven, MI 48023 L'Anse Creuse Lancers (Harrison Township, MI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Anchor Bay Tars (Fair Haven, MI), 34-30 in a non-league bout.
With the win, L'Anse Creuse upgrades its record to 7-12 on the season. The Lancers host Chippewa Valley (Clinton Township, MI) to play the Big Reds in a non-league bout on Monday, February 28. The Big Reds go into the bout with a record of 4-15. Chippewa Valley lost 32-26 in their recent non-league bout against Almont (Almont, MI)
Next up, the Tars play the Port Huron Big Reds (Port Huron, MI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 28. Anchor Bay will attempt to upgrade on its 4-13 season record. The Big Reds go into the bout with a 13-7 record after their 56-43 non-league loss to Powers Catholic (Flint, MI).
