Georgia High School Soccer - Callaway knocks off Bowdon
February 24, 2022: Hogansville, GA 30230 Callaway Cavaliers (Hogansville, GA) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Bowdon Red Devils (Bowdon, GA), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cavaliers confront the Bremen Blue Devils (Bremen, GA) in a AA Region 5 challenge, on Tuesday, March 1. Callaway will attempt to move on its 9-0 season record. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 7-1 non-league loss to Northgate (Newnan, GA).
The Red Devils now possess a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Temple for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 25. Bowdon will confront a Tigers team coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-6.
