February 24, 2022: Lexington, GA 30648 The crowd at Thursday's league test between the Oglethorpe County Patriots (Lexington, GA) and the visiting Laney Wildcats (Augusta, GA), saw Oglethorpe County's soccer squad triumph over Laney by a count of 10-0.
The Patriots now hold a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Putnam County for a AA Region 4 test on Thursday, March 3.
With the loss, Laney drops to 2-1 on the season. The Wildcats host Putnam County (Eatonton, GA) to meet the War Eagles in a AA Region 4 test on Tuesday, March 1. The War Eagles come into the test with a record of 4-4. Putnam County won 7-0 in their recent league test against Johnson (Augusta, GA)
