Georgia High School Soccer - Oconee County held off by North Oconee
February 24, 2022: Watkinsville, GA 30677 The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the North Oconee Titans (Bogart, GA) and the host Oconee County Warriors (Watkinsville, GA), saw North Oconee's soccer squad get by Oconee County by a count of 3-2.
The Titans now hold a 10-0 record. They play next when they travel to Flowery Branch for a AAAA Region 8 test on Friday, March 4. North Oconee will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Parkview (Lilburn, GA). The Falcons record now stands at 1-5.
With the loss, Oconee County drops to 4-4 on the season. The Warriors host Hart County (Hartwell, GA) to meet the Bulldogs in a AAA Region 8 test on Tuesday, March 1. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 3-4. Hart County won 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Westside (Augusta, GA)
