Michigan High School Basketball - Morrice tops St. Patrick
February 24, 2023: Portland, MI 48875 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Morrice Orioles (Morrice, MI) and the host St. Patrick Shamrocks (Portland, MI), saw Morrice's basketball squad knock off St. Patrick by a tally of 48-31.
With the victory, Morrice improves its record to 4-15 on the campaign. The Orioles host Byron (Byron, MI) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 28. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 3-15. Byron lost 62-56 in their recent league challenge against Mt. Morris (Mt. Morris, MI)
Next up, the Shamrocks play the Potterville Vikings (Potterville, MI) in a Central Michigan challenge, on Saturday, February 25. St. Patrick will attempt to improve on its 3-10 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 9-9 record after their 66-44 league loss to Laingsburg (Laingsburg, MI).
