Michigan High School Basketball - University Prep nips Oak Park
February 24, 2023: Detroit, MI 48202 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the University Prep Panthers (Detroit, MI) and the visiting Oak Park Knights (Oak Park, MI), saw University Prep's basketball squad hold off Oak Park by a tally of 49-48.
With the victory, University Prep improves its record to 6-15 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to St. Mary's Prep (Orchard Lake, MI) to play the Eaglets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 28. The Eaglets come into the challenge with a record of 8-10. St. Mary's Prep lost 53-49 in their recent non-league challenge against River Rouge (River Rouge, MI)
Next up, the Knights play the Clarkston Wolves (Clarkston, MI) in a Oakland - Red challenge, on Tuesday, February 28. Oak Park will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 12-8 record after their 73-45 league loss to Adams (Rochester, MI).
