Illinois High School Basketball - Sterling tops Ottawa
February 24, 2023: Sterling, IL 61081 Sterling Golden Warriors (Sterling, IL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Ottawa Pirates (Ottawa, IL), 72-54 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Sterling upgrades its record to 24-8 on the campaign. The Golden Warriors travel to Metamora (Metamora, IL) to play the Redbirds in a non-league bout on Wednesday, March 1. The Redbirds come into the bout with a record of 29-2. Metamora won 61-45 in their recent non-league bout against East Peoria (East Peoria, IL)
