The Cypress Springs Panthers basketball team (Cypress, TX), was overwhelmed 66-34 in Friday's non-league battle with the host DeSoto Eagles (DeSoto, TX)

The Eagles now possess a 26-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cedar Hill for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 25. DeSoto will confront a Longhorns team coming off a 52-41 non-league win over Cypress Ranch (Houston, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 24-13.
