February 24, 2023: Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Divine Child Falcons (Dearborn, MI) and the host University Liggett Knights (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI), saw Divine Child's basketball squad wallop University Liggett by a tally of 58-37.
With the victory, Divine Child improves its record to 15-6 on the campaign. The Falcons host Annapolis (Dearborn Heights, MI) to confront the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 1. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 8-11. Annapolis won 32-22 in their recent non-league challenge against Henry Ford Academy (Dearborn, MI)
Next up, the Knights confront the Pershing Doughboys (Detroit, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 27. University Liggett will attempt to improve on its 12-8 season record. The Doughboys come into the challenge with a 13-7 record after their 107-14 non-league loss to Renaissance (Detroit, MI).
