February 24, 2023: Ivanhoe, TX 75447 Como-Pickton Eagles (Como, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Sam Rayburn Rebels (Ivanhoe, TX), 14-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Whitewright for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 24. Como-Pickton will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Community (Nevada, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 1-5.
With the loss, Sam Rayburn falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Rebels host Collinsville (Collinsville, TX) to battle the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 28. The Pirates enter the challenge with a record of 1-3. Collinsville lost 11-9 in their recent non-league challenge against Tom Bean (Tom Bean, TX)
