Alabama High School Softball - Scottsboro gets by Hillcrest
February 24, 2023: Tuscaloosa, AL 35405 The Scottsboro Wildcats got by the host Hillcrest Patriots softball squad by a count of 1-0 in Friday's non-league battle.
The Wildcats (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Pell City (Pell City, AL). The Panthers go into the non-league battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Pell City nudged Tuscaloosa County (Northport, AL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
The Patriots now sport a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Vestavia Hills for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 25. Hillcrest will meet a Rebels squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to West Morgan (Trinity, AL). The Rebels record now stands at 6-2.
