Minnesota High School Basketball - Duluth East knocked off by Bemidji
February 24, 2024: Duluth, MN 55804 The Bemidji Lumberjacks basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Duluth East Greyhounds to 41 in the Lumberjacks non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Lumberjacks now sport a 12-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Alexandria for a non-league contest on Friday, March 1. Bemidji will play a Cardinals squad coming off a 83-47 non-league win over Sartell-St. Stephen (Sartell, MN). The Cardinals record now stands at 20-5.
Next up, the Greyhounds play the Grand Rapids Thunderhawks (Grand Rapids, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 26. Duluth East will attempt to upgrade on its 8-16 season record. The Thunderhawks come into the challenge with a 10-17 record after their 72-63 league loss to Cloquet (Cloquet, MN).
