February 24, 2024: Cypress, CA 90630 The Cypress Centurions held off the visiting Long Beach Poly Jackrabbits volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Centurions now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. John Bosco for a non-league test on Monday, February 26. Cypress will confront a Braves team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to University (Irvine, CA). The Braves record now stands at 4-7.
The Jackrabbits (6-1) will now prepare for their test against St. John Bosco (Bellflower, CA). The Braves enter the non-league test with a 4-5 record. In their last test, St. John Bosco was nudged by Woodrow Wilson (Long Beach, CA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
