Texas High School Softball - Graham holds off Early
February 24, 2024: Early, TX 76802 The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Graham Steers (Graham, TX) and the host Early Longhorns (Early, TX), saw Graham's softball squad nip Early by a count of 5-3.
The Steers now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Peaster for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 27. Graham will face a Greyhounds squad coming off a 15-5 non-league loss to Holliday (Holliday, TX). The Greyhounds record now stands at 9-3.
With the loss, Early falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to San Angelo Central (San Angelo, TX) to face the Bobcats in a non-league match on Thursday, February 29. The Bobcats enter the match with a record of 7-6. San Angelo Central won 2-1 in their recent non-league match against Brownwood (Brownwood, TX)
