Louisiana High School Softball - North Vermilion bounces Montgomery
February 24, 2024: Maurice, LA 70555 The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the North Vermilion Patriots (Maurice, LA) and the visiting Montgomery Tigers (Montgomery, LA), saw North Vermilion's softball squad nip Montgomery by a count of 11-5.
The Patriots now sport a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 27. North Vermilion will face a Eagles squad coming off a 11-0 non-league loss to Vandebilt Catholic (Houma, LA). The Eagles record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Montgomery falls to 6-3 on the campaign. The Tigers host Grant (Dry Prong, LA) to face the Cougars in a non-league match on Saturday, February 24. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 3-1. Grant lost 11-7 in their recent non-league match against Sulphur (Sulphur, LA)
