Hemphill Hornets (Hemphill, TX) fans left the game pleased Monday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Big Sandy Wildcats (Dallardsville, TX), 7-5 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Hemphill advances its record to 4-3 on the season. The Hornets travel to Orangefield (Orangefield, TX) to battle the Bobcats in a non-league match on Thursday, February 27. The Bobcats come into the match with a record of 4-0. Orangefield won 9-2 in their recent non-league match against Tarkington (Cleveland, TX)

The Wildcats now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lumberton for a non-league match on Saturday, March 1.
