The Friendswood Mustangs baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host Sterling Rangers to 1 in the Mustangs non-league win on Monday.

The Mustangs now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Katy Taylor for a non-league test on Thursday, February 27. Friendswood will play a Mustangs team coming off a 8-0 league win over Mayde Creek (Houston, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-2.

With the defeat, Sterling drops to 0-2 on the year. The Rangers travel to Sotomayor (San Antonio, TX) to play the WILDCATS in a non-league test on Thursday, February 27.
