New Jersey High School Basketball - Newark Collegiate Academy holds off St. Thomas Aquinas
February 24, 2025: Newark, NJ 07103 In Monday's non-league contest, the host Newark Collegiate Academy Panthers basketball team scored a close 58-55 triumph over the St. Thomas Aquinas Trojans.
The Panthers (13-5) will now prepare for their contest against Snyder (Jersey City, NJ). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 11-9 record. In their last contest, Snyder nipped Union City (Union City, NJ), 60-47, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Trojans confront the St. Augustine Prep Hermits (Richland, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Friday, February 28. St. Thomas Aquinas will attempt to better on its 12-9 season record. The Hermits go into the contest with a 9-11 record after their 48-26 non-league win over Holy Spirit (Absecon, NJ).
