February 24, 2025: Scotch Plains, NJ 07076 The Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders (Scotch Plains, NJ) basketball were winner over the visiting Newark Academy Minutemen (Livingston, NJ), 51-35 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Raiders now possess a 4-9 record. They play next when they travel to Columbia for a non-league bout on Thursday, February 27. Scotch Plains-Fanwood will play a Cougars team coming off a 71-41 non-league loss to University (Newark, NJ). The Cougars record now stands at 8-11.
With the loss, Newark Academy falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The Minutemen travel to Oak Knoll (Summit, NJ) to play the Royals in a non-league bout on Friday, February 28. The Royals go into the bout with a record of 5-4. Oak Knoll won 51-35 in their recent non-league bout against Governor Livingston (Berkeley Heights, NJ)
