Vermont High School Basketball - West Rutland overwhelms Springfield
February 24, 2025: Springfield, VT 05156 The West Rutland Golden Horde basketball team scored 64 points and limited the host Springfield Cosmos to 37 in the Golden Horde league triumph on Monday.
The Golden Horde now possess a 17-3 record. They play next when they host Windsor for a Marble Valley - B game on Saturday, March 1. West Rutland will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 40-29 league win over Hartford (White River Junction, VT). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 17-3.
With the loss, Springfield falls to 7-12 on the campaign. The Cosmos host Otter Valley (Brandon, VT) to confront the Otters in a Marble Valley - B game on Thursday, February 27. The Otters go into the game with a record of 5-13.
