In Monday's non-league test, the Apex Cougars (Apex, NC) lacrosse team overwhelmed the visiting Willow Spring Storm (Fuquay-Varina, NC), by a count of 16-10.

Next up, the Cougars battle the Seaforth Hawks (Pittsboro, NC) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, February 26. Apex will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Hawks enter the test with a 0-1 record after their 19-8 non-league loss to Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC).
