In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Oconee County Warriors lacrosse squad scored a good 23-15 triumph over the Mount Pisgah Christian Patriots.

The Warriors (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Jackson County (Jefferson, GA). The Panthers go into the 2A Area 8 contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Jackson County knocked off Collins Hill (Suwanee, GA), 17-10, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Patriots meet the Lakeside Vikings (Atlanta, GA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, February 28. Mount Pisgah Christian will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record. The Vikings go into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 16-6 non-league loss to Kennesaw Mountain (Kennesaw, GA).
