February 24, 2025: Decatur, AL 35601 The Athens Golden Eagles soccer squad scored 4 points and held the host Austin Black Bears to 0 in the Golden Eagles non-league victory on Monday.
The Golden Eagles now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Elkmont for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 25.
With the loss, Austin moves to 2-3 on the year. The Black bears host James Clemens (Madison, AL) to play the Jets in a 7A Area 8 bout on Tuesday, March 4. The Jets go into the bout with a record of 3-1.
