Connecticut High School Ice Hockey - Pomfret School held off by Avon Old Farms
February 24, 2025: Pomfret, CT 06258 The Avon Old Farms Beavers ice hockey team scored 1 points and held the host Pomfret School Griffins to 0 in the Beavers non-league victory on Monday.
The Beavers now hold a 15-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Canterbury School for a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 26. Avon Old Farms will play a Saints team coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Berkshire School (Sheffield, MA). The Saints record now stands at 13-15.
With the defeat, Pomfret School moves to 14-12 on the season. The Griffins travel to Wilbraham & Monson Academy (Wilbraham, MA) to play the Titans in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 26. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 0-18. Wilbraham & Monson Academy lost 10-1 in their recent non-league bout against Austin Prep (Reading, MA)
