Georgia High School Baseball - Pike County wallops Upson-Lee
February 24, 2025: Thomaston, GA 30286 The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the Pike County Pirates (Zebulon, GA) and the host Upson-Lee Knights (Thomaston, GA), saw Pike County's baseball team gain a win over Upson-Lee by a tally of 12-0.
The Pirates (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Starr's Mill (Fayetteville, GA). The Panthers enter the non-league battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Starr's Mill prevailed over Troup County (LaGrange, GA), 14-4, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Knights face the McIntosh Chiefs (Peachtree City, GA) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, February 26. Upson-Lee will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Chiefs enter the battle with a 1-2 record after their 9-4 non-league loss to Starr's Mill (Fayetteville, GA).
