South Carolina High School Lacrosse - James Island bounces Academic Magnet
February 24, 2025: Charleston, SC 29412 Fans at Monday's non-league test between the James Island Trojans (Charleston, SC) and the visiting Academic Magnet Raptors (North Charleston, SC), witnessed James Island's lacrosse squad top Academic Magnet by a count of 19-4.
The Trojans (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Porter-Gaud (Charleston, SC). The Cyclones enter the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Porter-Gaud thwarted Laurence Manning Academy (Manning, SC), 12-5, in a league test.
Next, the Raptors battle the Effingham County Rebels (Springfield, GA) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, February 26. Academic Magnet will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Rebels enter the test with a 1-0 record after their 15-5 non-league win over South Effingham (Guyton, GA).
