Texas High School Softball - Groveton bounces Tatum
February 24, 2025: Groveton, TX 75845 The Groveton Indians softball team scored 23 runs and held the visiting Tatum Eagles to 5 in the Indians non-league win on Monday.
The Indians now possess a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pollok Central for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 25. Groveton will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 6-2 non-league win over Leonard (Leonard, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-2.
With the loss, Tatum moves to 2-4 on the season. The Eagles host White Oak (White Oak, TX) to confront the Roughnecks in a 3A Region II District 16 battle on Tuesday, February 25. The Roughnecks come into the battle with a record of 4-5. White Oak lost 6-3 in their recent non-league battle against Texas (Texarkana, TX)
