The Beachside Barracudas softball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting St. Augustine Yellow Jackets to 6 in the Barracudas non-league win on Tuesday.

The Barracudas now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to First Coast for a non-league battle on Wednesday, February 25. Beachside will confront a Buccaneers team coming off a 18-8 non-league win over Fernandina Beach (Fernandina Beach, FL). The Buccaneers record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, St. Augustine falls to 1-2 on the year. The Yellow jackets host Tocoi Creek (St. Augustine, FL) to meet the Toros in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 26.
